In basketball
there are 5 players from each team on the court at one time. A basket is 2 points unless you shoot it behind the three-point
line then you get 3 points. If you get fouled when you shoot and you still make it you can make a three point play if you
made a 2 pointer or a 4 point play if you made a 3 pointer. If you get 6 fouls you are out of the game. The team who has the
highest score at the end of the 4th quarter wins the game.
If there is a tie the teams play in overtime(ot).
Overtime periods last 5minutes and they keep having ot until there is a winner.
The WNBA (Womens National Basketball Association)plays
a regulation of 40 minutes.
